Backwoods Adventures - Canoe or kayak the scenic upper North Fork of the Payette River (located at the North end of Payette Lake at North Beach). Known as the Meanders, this calm and wake free waterway is a wildlife and wilderness experience that you won't want to miss. Watch for the moose and deer that are frequently seen. Canoe and kayak rentals ($8 - $11 per hour or $25 - $35 per half day), guided tours with Naturalists, kayak lessons, family packages, kids "learn to kayak" programs. No website. Manchester Ice & Event Centre - Indoor ice skating rink with grandstand seating. Fun for all ages and abilities.
Ponderosa State Park - A beautiful peninsula that juts out into Payette Lake that offers hiking and biking trails, great huckleberry patches, beach and picnic areas. There is a spectacular view from Osprey Point and don't be surprised if you spot the magnificent osprey nests.
Snowmobiling - There are several winter sports parking areas less than 5 minutes from the cabin. There are 234 miles of groomed snowmobile trails.

Cheap Thrills Rentals - Located on Highway 55 as you come into town from Boise.
Mile High Marina - Also has a coffee bar, Babblefish restaurant, and retail shop with great tshirts, hats, etc. Located on the west shore of Payette Lake.

Crusty's Pizza - Wow! We just recently discovered this gem. If you're looking for an unusually fresh and creative menu, this is your place. Their house salad includes mixed greens, cranberry and pumpkin seeds, need I say more? They have pasta, paninis and amazing pizzas with ingredients like fresh garlic, basil and oregano, elk sausage, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes. They also have a variety of live music.
Toll Station Pizza - Highly recommended for great pizza and a delicious salad bar. During the summer sit out on the patio with a view of Payette Lake.
Bistro 45 - A favorite! Wine bar and cafe with a delicious menu including garlic baked brie and tomato basil bruschetta. Their sandwiches are outstanding. A large outside seating area in a delightful courtyard. Dogs are welcome.
Chapala Mexican Restaurant - Unbelievably fast and friendly service. Your food is delivered only minutes after ordering. A great outside deck with lake view.
My Father's Place - Burgers, the most delicious chicken sandwiches you've ever tasted, and the thickest freshest banana and strawberry shakes. No website - located at 901 N 3rd.
The Pancake House - You can't leave McCall without eating here! The food is outstanding. Homestyle cooking at it's best - and the portions are enormous. If you order pancakes, only order one. They're a full plate size and you'll be lucky if you can finish one. They also have a coffee bar and The Christmas House Gift Shop, a great place to purchase a souvenir. Limited hours - they are only open until 2:00 pm. The coffee bar is open later and also serves food.
