About the Owners
Thank you for your interest in our cabin vacation rental in McCall Idaho. We are Bob and Tamera Wheeler, both Idaho natives living in Eagle, Idaho. We have two sons, Nate and Nick.
For many years we have vacationed every summer in McCall and always wanted to have our own cabin. Finally in 2006 our dream became a reality when we bought this cabin. We had looked on and off for a couple of years and had never found what we were looking for. The minute we walked into this cabin we knew it was the location and floor plan that we had been searching for, and after a few months of renovation (carpet, woodwork, wall texture, paint, flooring, and a complete remodel of the upstairs bathroom) we had our dream cabin.
The location is perfect for fun, relaxation and de-stressing; a quiet area off of Warren Wagon Road on the west side of Payette Lake. The walk to the private beach access is less than 5 minutes and is a very easy, gradual walk down to the beach...no steep incline or rocky terrain to navigate.
This cabin is large enough that friends and family can stay, yet it's still got that cozy and comfortable cabin feeling. It's a great layout because there is both a living room and a family room plus a dining table that seats 7 and a round table (we call it the game table) that seats an additional 4 (see photos).
The deck is our absolute favorite place to hang out in the summer! The cabin sits on 3 lots, which leaves lots of room for fun. The main cabin sits toward the front of the property and the kitchenette unit sits on the back lot. That means there are no neighbors behind us which makes the deck and yard very private.
We have many fond memories of our trips to McCall and we plan to make many new memories in the years to come. We hope that your time in McCall brings you immense relaxation and enjoyment as it has for our family.
